ECHOES: VIBRANCE IN SYMMETRY was inspired by The Neon Demon, a psychological horror film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The photoshoot took place on December 20, 2016 at 12:00PM with models Livia Elgart and Hannah Looney. The vision was directed by Jason. This was NEGATIVS first time working with two models on the same project and took place in a black box theater. Low-key lighting was utilized to sculpt the models in the darkness of the space, along with heavy use of shadows. To further portray the unique personalities of both models, we also emphasized analogous colored lighting using red, purple, and blue gel filters. Video by Meagan Arnold.
